Anotace, referát	In the present invention there are disclosed heterocyclic compounds of the benzothiophene-, benzofuran- and indole-thiazepinone, -oxazepinone and -diazepinone type of the general formula 1 and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, wherein Ri1, Ri2, Ri3 and Ri4 represent each independently on one anther hydrogen, hydroxy, halogen, alkyl containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, benzyloxy, trifluoromethyl, nitro or -NRi8Ri9, wherein Ri8 and Ri9 denote each independently on one anther hydrogen, or alkyl containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, Ri5 and Ri6 represent each independently on one anther hydrogen, alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or phenyl, X denotes oxygen, S(O)in or NRi7, Y represents oxygen, S(O)in or NRi8, Ri7 denotes hydrogen, alkyl containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, phenyl, benzyl, CHi2ORi8 or halo substituted alkyl containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, phenyl or benzyl, Ri8 represents hydrogen, alkyl containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms or phenyl, n represents an integer 0, 1 or 2, with the provisos that 1) when X represents NH, Y denotes NH, Ri1 represents hydrogen, Ri3 represents hydrogen and Ri4 denotes bromine, Ri2 is not methyl; 2) when X represents NH, Y denotes NH, Ri1, Ri3 and Ri4 represent hydrogen, Ri1 is not methoxy or ethoxy, and 3) when X represents NH, Y denotes sulfur, at least one of Ri1, Ri2, Ri3 and Ri4 is not hydrogen. Claimed is also a pharmaceutical composition containing a therapeutically effective amount of the heterocyclic compound according to the Claim 1 along with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. eng
